Welcome to the web site for the Emergency Medical Sciences department at Wake Technical Community College.

We offer two options for pursuing a career in Emergency Medical Services:

1.  Through the Curriculum Degree Program

2.  Through the non-credit Continuing Education Program

North Carolina cities are growing rapidly, and the State is dedicated to providing quality, high level, emergency medical care. The need for paramedics is great, and continues to grow in demand. There are currently paramedic jobs available locally, statewide, and nationally. Wake Tech has nearly a 100% job placement rate within one year of graduation.
